Rachel has been helping me with my pack of 4 large Shiloh Shepherds since 2017. Not many people could handle the dynamics of these dogs, all over 100 pounds, but Rachel has become a member of their family, with calm commands and a gentle voice. Whenever I've been gone and she is in charge, I return to a happy group, showing no signs of having been stressed in my absence. She helped me from the time the pups, Freddie and Tinkerbell, were only a few weeks old and she was so knowledgable when the older girls, Chiara and Pearl, had surgeries and I needed a helping hand. Rachel has a deeply spiritual under-standing of animals and their humans, she is a masterful handler of our animal family. I highly recommend Rachel.

Our family has trusted Rachel to care for our beloved dogs, cat, guinea pigs and chickens. We originally met her when she worked for a veterinarian in Carmel Valley. Rachel has wonderful relationships with many animal hospitals and those connections truly make a difference when something unexpectedly goes wrong. One time one of our guinea pigs fell ill and had to be admitted to the hospital. Rachel administered medications and hand fed him until we returned home two weeks later. Her confidence, patience, excellent communication skills, and courteous manner impress people with whom she interacts. Our family has come to count on her so much that we plan our trips around her availability whenever possible.

If you remember the old saying, "If you want a job done right, do it yourself." The only person other than myself that I would entrust my animals to is Rachel. She has a special way with my two cats and dog. Fyder gets quality walks, great interaction and massages. When I'm away, I don't have to worry. She 's got all the bases covered, and if there's an emergency, she knows exactly what to do. My dog goes bonkers when she arrives, and can't wait until I get out of the house. And I'm not even jealous...it's just the way it is. I forgive my dog. You may use Rachel with complete confidence.

never worry a single minute
My sister referred Rachel to me for my 7-year Siamese boy, Billy. I am a huge worrier when I leave him with anyone because of past experiences. I was resigned to being satisfied if they just gave him water and food and he was alive when I got home. It wasn't a pleasant feeling. I honestly had no reason to believe Rachel was any different from other sitters. I am happy to admit that I was 100% wrong about her! The first time I scheduled Rachel, I liked her immediately and so did Billy. I hear from her daily while I'm on vacation and receive videos of Billy loving on her. I am so happy to admit I never ever worry about Billy for a single minute when he's being cared for by Rachel.

Three years ago I hired Rachel to look after my two elderly cats while I was out of town. She's incredibly clear with her communication when we set up arrangements. Our relationship with Rachel began when we hired her to do walks for our young, excitable and newly adopted rescue dog, Emily. Rachel Ray is a Rock Star in our house for our fur child, Corky, and for us too. We've known Rachel for nearly 30 years and there is no one we trust so completely to care for our fur children. She is the kindest, most loving, dedicated and loyal person. She treats Corky like she is her own. Through the years our dogs were always excited to see her.
